California’s LGBTQ+ community deserves safe, welcoming homes, but the numbers show we’ve still got work to do. From lower homeownership rates to higher housing insecurity, too many neighbors are still fighting for the basics. According to our friends at the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, “the LGBTQ homeownership rate is 49%, far below the homeownership rate of 64% for the general population.”
At C.A.R., we’re here to change that. We’re pushing for fair housing, real protections, and a California where everyone has a place to call home.🏡
