Save The Date! Skyllkill's Stitchers' Flea Market returns Wednesday July 8, 2026 - Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church, 1168 Rt 55, Lagrangeville, NY, East Door. Threads, kits, fabric, frames/hoops, beads, books, magazines - and new this year a Silent Auction of some curated pieces (finished, framed pieces, specialized tools/equipment and a few other goodies). Doors open at 10am, shop until 1pm or sell-out. Silent Auction runs from 10-11am. Bring your own bag to fill - most merchandise sold by the bag. Fill a standard grocery bag for $10. Not that ambitious? Go for a gallon zip bag for $2.00. 15-gallon yarn bags, $10. All sales final, cash or check only. Skyllkill reserves the right to approve grocery bag size.

Skyllkill's June meeting will be Wednesday June 10 at Freedom Plains United Presbyterian Church (1168 Rt 55, Lagrangeville, NY). The program will be presented by Ann Marie and Rick Jackson, former owners of Hyde Park Gallery, on Preserving Needle Art for Display - Framing Needlework. Doors open at 10am for Social Hour; Show & Share runs at 10:45am. Business meeting at 11am then lunch at 11:30(brown bag, dessert table available). The program begins at 12:30pm. We're delighted that America's Tapestry New York Panel has been mounted and readied to be shipped to the Muscarelle Museum of Art for exhibition! Along with the other 12 state panels, the exhibition will open on June 21, 2026 in Williamsburg, VA. Thanks to Jenni Paperman, our state director, and the many volunteers who made this happen!
