Our friends at Hospice of Acadiana's Center for Loss & Transition are currently accepting registrations for Camp Brave Hearts, a free two-day grief camp for children ages 6โ12. CBH provides a supportive environment where children can connect with peers who have experienced loss, express their feelings, and learn healthy coping skills.
This is a wonderful resource for families in our area, and we are grateful for the care and support they provide each year. If this sounds like a good fit for a child in your life, be sure to check out the information in the original post. ๐
Registration for Camp Brave Hearts is in full swing here at Hospice of Acadiana!๐ฉต
Camp Brave Hearts is a free, two-day grief camp for children ages 6-12 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Campers are led through activities by trained bereavement volunteers, social workers, and counselors. Campers learn to appropriately express feelings and emotions with others who have experienced similar losses and gain coping techniques to better understand the family and social changes that often follow the death of a special person.
Registration is open now until Friday, July 10.
Spaces are limited; early registration is encouraged.
