We delivered period purses for teachers’ desks at Lafayette High School giving their students easier access to menstrual supplies.

While many schools like Lafayette High keep a supply closet, having period purses in every teacher’s desk means easier and more discreet access to necessities.

If you have a daughter that attends school, I urge you to start a conversation with one simple question- “What happens if you start your period at school and you don’t have a pad/tampon?”

What is an Art Bra? Art Bras are decorated to remember Breast Cancer Survivors and Deceased Loved Ones. There is no limit to how you can make an Art Bra. Let your creativity flow. We are accepting Art Bras of all mediums. Some will be designed by survivors, their friends and family, and others by artists. You can decorate a bra out of cloth, beads, metal, glass, pretty much anything you can think of. The options are endless.

Are you a hobby seamstress? Do you know your way around a needle and thread? We welcome your talents and appreciate your time in sewing period purses!
Period purses should have a closing mechanism (button, snap, Velcro,, etc) and can be no larger than 5x7.
