We are so grateful to the young men of Eagle Scout Troop 411 for their incredible effort beautifying our Mental Health Services department! 🤩

These boys worked in the extreme heat to help improve our outdoor space, making it welcoming for youth and families receiving services.

Our staff was blown away by the eagle scouts’ dedication, teamwork, and positive attitudes - thank you so much for your service to the community! 🌟

While our boys in residence try to beat this summer heatwave, here’s a throwback to their trip to the LA County Fair in May! 🎡☀️

Activities like this are great for these young men to get off campus, socialize, and create positive life-long memories! 🙌

Summer School would not be complete without Bliss Academy’s Annual Field Day! 🤩🤸

Students and staff had so much fun coordinating their outfits, making signs, playing games, and eating delicious BBQ! 🍔🌟🌭

We can’t wait to have everyone back on campus next month! 💜✨

In 1946, it was 10 boys and a vision for how things could be better. 🏡

80 years later, that vision has grown into something LeRoy Haynes could have only imagined.

What began as LeRoy Boys' Home in 1946 has transformed across eight decades, expanding our programs, deepening our reach, and evolving to meet our community wherever it is.

The world looks different than it did in 1946, and so do we. From residential care and special education to vocational training, mental health services, and beyond, every chapter at Haynes has been shaped by the needs of the children and families in front of us.

What will always remain the same is LeRoy's vision that every young person deserves safety, support, and a real shot at the future.

Thank you for 80 years of trust, partnership, and shared purpose. The best is still ahead. 💚

Following our recent Nonprofit of the Year nomination, Haynes Family of Programs and David & Margaret Youth and Family Services were featured in the Los Angeles Business Journal with an exclusive article authored by our President and CEO, Dan Maydeck.

Dan's leadership has helped guide both organizations through decades of regulatory change, funding pressures, and shifting child welfare policy, all while expanding services and deepening our impact. Under his vision, our combined organizations now serve more than 5,000 youth and families annually, with over 110,000 lives meaningfully transformed since our founding.
