Single Parents Arise, Inc Single Parents Arise (SPA) was established to provide education, mentoring and ongoing support for single parents. Their hope and future is in your hands.

The mission of Single Parents Arise (SPA) is the pursuit of the following principles:

Commitment: SPA wants to inspire a desire for continuing education, strong interpersonal skills, and instill a sense of hope in the future. Responsibility: The focus of SPA is to empower single parents with education, life skills and resources that will improve the lives of their families, their communities and

assist them in establishing goals and following through. Possibility: SPA wants to expand the perspective of single parents to make them aware of life's possibilities and the effect it can have on future generations. Support: An individual is dramatically influenced by their support system. SPA will offer single parents ongoing support. Goal: To foster a commitment to single parents that will promote support, strong interpersonal skills and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Only through education and personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished. This will give single parents the commitment to follow through on the path to independence with a sense of pride and accomplishment. For volunteer opportunities email: [email protected]

Single Parents Arise, Inc. invites you to our upcoming events for single parent families.

We are hosting a free SPA PICNIC (free food, fun & backpacks and school supplies for the children) on Aug 17 from 2-6pm and we have a few spots open. Do you know anyone that would appreciate this event?

We are also hosting a free SPA CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION (free food, entertainment, education & gifts for the children) on Dec 6 (tentative date) from 5-8:30pm and we have a few spots open. Do you know anyone that would appreciate this event?

We are looking for volunteers and single parent families to attend both events. Let me know if you or anyone you know would like to attend.

Single Parents Arise, Inc. welcomes you to our 1st Annual SPA Picnic, Saturday, August 11th from 2:00-6:00pm in Upland. Single parents and their children will be offered a day of fun, food and education free of charge. Children will be given backpacks and school supplies.

Sponsor a seat today, either partially or fully. A half sponsorship is $20 and a full sponsorship is $40. By sponsoring a seat, you are giving a single parent family, lunch, dessert, games, education, backpacks and school supplies for the kids and the park rental.
