Today, members of VFW Post 9148 had the privilege of serving our community by hosting a BBQ lunch for the wonderful residents of La Mirada Heights Senior Living Community as part of the VFW Day of Service.

From firing up the grill to serving meals it was an honor to spend time with the residents and dedicated staff who make La Mirada Heights such a special place. Thank you for welcoming us and allowing us this opportunity . We can't wait to do it again!

Thank you to everyone who joined VFW Post 9148 for our Memorial Day ceremony and luncheon as we came together to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Of all the events we host and participate in throughout the year, this one is closest to our hearts. Memorial Day is a solemn reminder of the true cost of freedom and the importance of never forgetting those who gave everything in service to our country. ❤️🇺🇸

Join us today at the La Mirada Civic Center for the Memorial Day Ceremony, then continue in remembrance with us afterward at La Mirada VFW Post 9148 for a complimentary lunch provided by our members.
