FEBC (Far East Broadcasting Company)

FEBC (Far East Broadcasting Company) We believe everyone deserves to hear the Gospel in their own language. We will always be close to the listener.

That’s why our programs are hosted by local followers of Jesus who speak the same language and live in the same communities as our listeners.

Mongolia is the size of Western Europe. Most of it is unreachable by road. 28 ethnic people groups live scattered across one of the world's most isolated landscapes — and for decades, the Gospel had almost no presence here at all.

Thirty years ago, there were fewer than 10 known Christian believers in the entire country. Today, churches exist. But the work is far from finished. Swipe to see what God has done — and what's still needed. 👉

People wanted to know what FEBC co-founder Dr. Bob Bowman needed most. His answer was always the same: pray for the right people.

And when they marveled at the extraordinary team God had assembled across Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines — they asked how he found them.

"We didn't find them. God sent them to us."

80 years later, that's still the story.

What good is a broadcast if no one is ready to receive it?

That's the question behind every prayer request we carry for our listeners. Pakistan is home to 240 million people — and with Islam as the dominant faith, fewer than 2% have ever heard the Gospel. Across 50 countries and 152 languages, FEBC's broadcasts go out daily — but the work of opening hearts belongs to God alone.

Pray with us today: for listeners in Pakistan and around the world to have open hearts to receive the love of Christ, and for our team as they develop new ways to reach people through social media.

Your prayer is part of this mission.

In a country where less than 1% of people are Christian, a listener quietly tuned in for six years. No church. No community. Just a broadcast, and a God who kept showing up.

"I was encouraged and healed, and finally overcame hardships. May God bless you!"

Stories like this are why FEBC keeps developing new programs for Japan — and why prayer is the foundation of that work.

Pray with us today: ask the Holy Spirit to guide the team as they find new ways to bring the Gospel to 125 million people still waiting to hear it.

June 12 - Thank God for opportunities for youth in Kazakhstan to share the Gospel through social media. Our team is receiving strong response from viewers who are interested in faith and church. Pray that many will come to Christ in this traditionally Muslim country and share the Gospel with others.

Ulaanbek grew up in Kyrgyzstan without a father, carrying years of abandonment and bitterness.

Then he heard the Gospel through FEBC radio.

Ten years later, he tracked down his estranged father, embraced him, and forgave him. Months later, his father passed away.

Today, Ulaanbek runs FEBC's station in Kyrgyzstan — broadcasting to Muslims facing the same wounds he once carried. He knows their questions. He speaks their language. He's lived their story.

That's what local broadcasting looks like.

In 1953, Eleanor G. Bowman, wife of FEBC founder Dr. Bob Bowman, sketched this view of Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong, by hand. FEBC was broadcasting to that same city, reaching into hard-to-reach places with the Gospel in languages people could finally call their own.

80 years later, the skyline is almost unrecognizable. The mission hasn't moved an inch.

June 11 - Please pray for the growing ministry in the Buryat Republic in Russia, near Mongolia. Locals there practice a mixture of Buddhism, Animism, and ancestral worship. Our team is receiving encouraging testimonies and producing short videos with pastors from the area. The videos have been viewed several million times—praise God!

Cambodia is 97% Buddhist — and for most Cambodians, that's not just a religion. It's family. It's tradition. It's the rhythm of daily life, from weddings to funerals to New Year celebrations.

For older generations, there's only ever been one way.

But younger Cambodians are growing up with something their parents didn't have: the freedom to ask questions. And more and more, those questions are leading them toward Jesus.

FEBC's Family FM 99.5 has been broadcasting the Gospel in Cambodia since 2002. Today, the signal reaches nearly two-thirds of the country — including provinces that were completely unreachable just a decade ago.

The roots of tradition run deep here. But so does the Gospel.

Will you pray for Cambodia's next generation — that the questions they're asking would lead them to the One who has answers?

June 10 - Please pray for the people of Vietnam. May local churches have protection and evangelism efforts grow even among challenging cultural circumstances. Pray for FEBC broadcasts to reach the unreached with the Gospel to restore their lives with God’s plan and purpose.
