That’s why our programs are hosted by local followers of Jesus who speak the same language and live in the same communities as our listeners.

In many cities across Ukraine, women with little or no exposure to Jesus are gathering to study the Bible. Several are now attending church. Others have placed their faith in Christ and been baptized. Pray for the Lord to guide our team as they lead these studies, reaching women who are struggling in a time of war.

Friday, October 9 - Thank God for the successful completion of our new radio tower in Cambodia. Now listeners can continue hearing the Good News on 99.5 Family FM. May the Lord draw even more of the unreached in Cambodia to hear and discover the love of Jesus through this station.

3.3 million people live in Mongolia. 98% of them do not know Jesus, which makes it one of the most unreached nations on earth.

That number hasn't moved much in decades. But something is moving now. FEBC's team in Mongolia is working to launch several new radio stations, and they're building partnerships with local churches so that what a listener hears on air can lead them to a community that will walk with them.

A signal can reach a person faster than anything else. A church can stay with them.

Pray for FEBC's broadcasters and leaders in Mongolia this month — for the new stations, for the partnerships, and for the Holy Spirit to soften hearts that have never once heard the name of Jesus.

Thursday, October 8 - People living in Vietnam can hear FEBC broadcasts in numerous ethnic languages as well as in Vietnamese. Pray for the hearts of listeners as they learn of God’s love. Pray also for the youth, who are more open to the Gospel, to accept Christ. Pray that they may lead older generations to faith.

Wednesday, October 7 - Pray for Gospel broadcasts to reach more listeners in Japan. With less than 1% of the population Christian, many are living without hope. Our listeners continue to share that they remain connected to Jesus through FEBC and receive spiritual nourishment every day.

Only 1% of the Yao people are Evangelical Christians.

The Yao are farmers and fishermen in Malawi. They live in small villages of simple homes, and nearly every remote one has a mosque. When missionaries first came in the late 1800s, the Yao were among the most resistant people groups on the continent to the Gospel.

But Christian programs are now broadcasting in the Yao language, the language people think in, grieve in, pray in, and people are tuning in. Broadcasters, pastors, and missionaries travel long distances to sit with the Yao believers who respond.

It costs something to be one of them. Saladin, a Yao believer in Malawi, has faced serious opposition from his own family and community for following Jesus.

"How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?" — Romans 10:14

Pray for the Yao this month: for hearts opened by what they hear in their heart language, and for the courage of believers like Saladin.

Monday, October 5 - Listeners from South Korea have told us that they did not believe in Jesus until their family members shared FEBC broadcasts with them. After much prayer, they decided to put their faith in Christ. Praise God for life-changing moments like these! May more hearts come to know Jesus in South Korea.
