Saving Lives, One Animal at a Time

We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places! It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat and find the true soul that lies within. We speak for those who can't speak for themselves! Pals For Paws is a dog rescue group powered by an ALL-VOLUNTEER staff who are passionate about improving the lives of pets in their community. Our foster families provide homeless, abandoned, or abused pets with the love and training needed to heal their wounds, which allows them to make a successful transition into a new forever home. Our MISSION is to reduce PET ABANDONMENT & OWNER SURRENDERS by holding adoption events, promoting low-cost spay/neuter programs, and by creating a compassionate, well-informed foster-home network. We are committed to creating a compassionate community where stray, abandoned, or neglected animals are non-existent; and where destroying animals is no longer used as a means of population control. Animals that are unwanted, abused, neglected, or ill; we are dedicated to ensuring their life from this point forward is an amazing one. This 501c3 NOT-FOR-PROFIT rescue proudly supports NO-KILL and PRO-SPAY/NEUTER philosophies. We rescue from high kill, overcrowded shelters from all over the country. We vet, transport and foster pets until the perfect match is made between you and one of our adoptable pets!

We are looking for Foster to adopt homes for the sweet Chihuahua puppies. They must go to homes with fenced in yards to keep them safe from diseases because they have only had one set of Puppy shots they still need two more sets to build their immune system. They are very tiny puppies and need to have a home without small children they are very fragile. And we would prefer homes where someone is Home a lot to continue working with them on house train.

* must have a Home with fenced in yard no apartments, patio homes or community areas.
* no small children they are very small and fragile.
* must have good vet reference.
* must be home and have time to work with your Puppy on house training.
* must have another small dog for them to bond with.

Samantha is 10 years and 3 months old and was surrendered in the hope of finding a home that could care for her better. She had been with her most recent family for 5 years.
Samantha is said to be timid with new people at first but warms up to them quickly. She's good with other dogs but hasn't been around cats. Samantha is housebroken and was very well-behaved in her home. She enjoys car rides and knows a couple of commands. I'm betting she can learn more for some tasty treats. Samantha will pretty much be the perfect companion for some lucky person. If you would like to meet this sweet girl, please email the shelter at [email protected] and request an application. Don't make her wait long! Samantha is located in Frankfort, Indiana!

UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING!

Mollie Joy is a sweet, older girl who was picked up as a stray — skinny, flea-infested, with skin issues on her back end from the fleas.
What we know: she's friendly, she eagerly takes treats, and she wears a constant worried look on her face that will just melt your heart. I mean, just look at those eyes! She deserves a happy home where she will be loved and cherished. If you would like to meet her, please email the shelter at [email protected] and request an application.
