On this last day of May 2026, Real Life, Real Issues hosted a pop-up discussion on the Wisdom of Preparation.
Throughout Scripture, we are encouraged to "be ye always ready." Preparation is not just spiritual—it is practical as well. We must be prepared in our faith, our finances, our homes, and our daily lives.
Don't wait for difficult times to start preparing. Plant, grow, and learn to steward what God has entrusted to you. Seek God's wisdom concerning your finances, work diligently to eliminate debt, and make wise decisions for the future.
One of the greatest enemies of preparation is procrastination. While we delay, time continues to move forward. Opportunities pass, seasons change, and responsibilities remain.
Preparation is an act of wisdom and obedience. What you do today can position you for what God has for you tomorrow.
"A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences." — Proverbs 22:3
Don't put off what God is calling you to do today. Pray, plan, prepare, and proceed. Time is still moving.

Your passion is not just a job.
Your passion is something you do because you love it, even when no one is watching.
A job may bring money, but passion brings purpose, joy, and fulfillment.
When you walk in your passion, you pour your heart into it not just for profit, but because it’s part of who you are. Love what you do! Do what you love! ❤️

You can chase money, applause, and validation… but none of it will ever satisfy like walking in your God-given purpose.

When you live on purpose, you move differently. You don’t compete, you don’t compare you stay in your lane because you understand what God placed inside of you is specific, intentional, and necessary. Every gift, every trial, every closed door was shaping you for this.

But purpose without a God heart can become pride.
So stay humble.
Stay teachable.
Stay submitted.

A God heart loves even when it’s hard, forgives when it’s undeserved, and serves when nobody is watching. It doesn’t just want the platform—it wants to please God in private.

Don’t just ask God to bless what you’re doing…
Ask Him to align you with what He already ordained.

Live with intention.
Move with obedience.
And let your life be evidence that when your heart stays with God, your purpose will always find you.

Sometimes we dismiss the very person who truly has our back and are genuine with no hidden motives are agendas— the one who shows up, who blesses us quietly, while others ignore us or lie and say they don’t have it. There is POWER in safe, Damascus fellowships.
When people come together in truth, transparency, and love, chains break. Healing begins. Minds are renewed. Lives are transformed.
We all carry something that can help somebody else. A testimony. A lesson. A warning. A strategy. A prayer. What you survived wasn’t just for you.
Safe fellowship creates space for real life and real issues to be discussed without judgment, fear, or shame. It’s where accountability meets compassion, and growth is nurtured, not rushed.
As we prepare for Real Life • Real Issues • 2026, let us be intentional about building spaces that are safe, anointed, and purpose-driven. Spaces where people can lay down masks and pick up healing. Where iron sharpens iron. Where God meets us on the road and changes our direction forever.
Don’t underestimate the power of your voice, your story, or your presence. Someone’s breakthrough is connected to your obedience.
Prepare. Connect. Heal. Grow.

THANK YOU‼️

As we come to the close of 2025, I want to pause and sincerely thank everyone who supported Real Life Real Issues this year.

Your prayers, presence, encouragement, honesty, and willingness to walk alongside this assignment did not go unnoticed. Because of you, lives were touched, conversations were opened, and healing was stirred.

This work has never been about perfection,it’s about truth. It’s about meeting people where they are and reminding them that God never asked us to hide our pain, mask our struggles, or pretend we’re whole when we’re hurting.

As we step into 2026, Real Life Real Issues is moving into new territory. This next season will be a deeper invitation for people to take off the masks, confront real wounds, and allow God to make them whole. Freedom comes through honesty, and healing flows where light is allowed to enter. “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Thank you for believing in this assignment, for standing with us, and for choosing healing over hiding. What God has started, He is faithful to complete, and the best is yet to come.

Honor is more than a word, it’s a posture of the heart. To honor means to value, respect, and esteem others in a way that reflects God’s character. Honor shows up in how we speak, how we listen, how we treat people when no one is watching, and how we respond even when it’s difficult. Honor doesn’t always mean agreement, but it always means love, humility, and reverence for what God values.

The Word reminds us: “Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.” 1 Peter 2:17
Honor begins with God and flows outward—to parents, leaders, family, and one another. “Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with promise.” — Ephesians 6:2
When we choose honor, we create space for blessing, unity, and peace. “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” Romans 12:10
May we be a people who walk in honor,not for applause, but because it pleases God. Honor reflects heaven’s culture here on earth. 🙏🏽❤️

Words of Truth! Be Encouraged!
Not everyone will receive you, and that’s alright. Even Jesus Himself said, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home” (Matthew 13:57). Rejection does not define you—God does. You are chosen, set apart, and created with purpose. When others don’t recognize your worth, remember that your identity is rooted in Christ. Keep walking in His calling, keep shining His light, and trust that the right hearts will see what God placed within you.
