Knox County Rescue

Thank you, WVLT, for highlighting our needs and sharing our mission with the community! Knox County Rescue is a 100% volunteer nonprofit agency, and we depend on grants, donations, and community support to continue serving others.

Your support helps us provide the equipment our volunteers need to safely carry out lifesaving missions. To help, please visit knoxcountyrescue.org. Thank you for standing behind our volunteers!

The equipment would reduce the time divers spend searching murky water like the Tennessee River, helping the squad locate victims faster and give families answers sooner. Here's how they're doing it: https://tinyurl.com/yc3362dy

This news story shares how we are working to purchase equipment that will help keep our team safe while serving our community during some of life’s most difficult moments.

As a volunteer nonprofit agency, your support helps make our missions possible. If you would like to help, please visit knoxcountyrescue.org or call our station at 865-546-4852.

Thank you for supporting our volunteers and the families who depend on us.

Two years ago, as Hurricane Helene devastated East Tennessee, Knox County Rescue volunteers responded to Cocke, Unicoi, and Carter counties to help those in need. Many of our members dedicated days to rescue and recovery efforts.

We are grateful for every volunteer who answered the call. Today, we remember the lives lost and continue to keep everyone affected by this historic storm in our thoughts and prayers.
