We are so grateful for our community and the way you continue to show up and support our mission! ❤️

We are currently in need of new underwear and socks for elementary-aged children, as well as soft blankets!

When children enter foster care, we want them to know they are loved and cared for. One of the ways we do this is by providing each child with a Bag of Hope filled with brand-new items just for them.

These bags typically include underwear, socks, a soft blanket, a stuffed animal, toothbrush, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, games, sensory items, and other essentials.

For many children, entering foster care means leaving behind everything familiar. Our hope is that these bags provide a little comfort during an incredibly difficult transition and remind each child that they matter.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve children in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties through the Lenoir County Foster Closet.

Thank you for helping us make sure these children know they are seen, valued, and loved! ❤️

Thank you to whoever donated this shirt! 🥹💗 It was the perfect find for the sweetest six-year-old who came to shop at the Foster Closet today.

Moments like this are exactly why we are so grateful for our community. Because of the incredible abundance of donations we’ve received, families can come into the closet, find clothes they love, and get what they need for the school year completely free of charge.

Every shirt, pair of shoes, pack of socks, and donation matters. You’re helping us make sure kids in our community feel seen, cared for, and excited to start a new school year. 💕
