We are so grateful to share some good news!

Backpack Buddies of Lenoir County received a shipment of food from Convoy of Hope, and these items will be a true blessing to the students we serve. The delivery was abundant, allowing us not only to serve our students, but also to share this gift of hope with partner agencies across Lenoir County.

We were thankful to share food with SAFE, Mary's Kitchen, Greene Lamp Community Action, Hope Restorations, Inc., The Salvation Army of Kinston, NC, and Hope Preparatory School Kinston.

It is our prayer and hope that this food will bring nourishment, encouragement, and hope to children and families throughout Kinston. Together, we are helping ensure that no one faces hunger alone.

First Presbyterian Church of Kinston will receive a truckload of food and relief supplies Thursday through a partnership with Convoy of Hope, a faith-based nonprofit organization focused on hunger relief, community outreach and disaster assistance.
