📣 Last call for AUDITIONS 📣
This coming Monday and Tuesday, 8/31 and 9/1, in the evening. In Kingston, NY.

Key of Q is looking for singers to help spread q***r joyfulness in song for our 2026-27 season!
We are searching specifically for a high Soprano. Anyone who can hit our high notes with confidence and clarity gets our full attention. If you’re an Alto or a Bass, we’d also like to hear from you. (Sorry Tenors 😕 maybe next time.) Key of Q values musical excellence, but we also aim to build community and elevate pride.

We rehearse every Monday evening in Uptown Kingston, and give two concerts, with multiple performances each, throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley. If you can make the commitment as an active part of a wonderfully diverse group of talented singers, then come out and try out, whoever you are!

AUDITIONS 📣
Evenings of Monday, August 31 & Tuesday, September 1
Kingston, NY

Key of Q, the Hudson Valley’s LGBTQ+ and allied a ca****la chorus, is holding auditions for our Fall 2026 season 🌟 ! We are specifically seeking one high soprano. We may also consider a bass and an alto. Sorry tenors, we are not seeking that voice part at this time!

Our group is musically ambitious 🎶, community-focused, and committed to creating joyful, meaningful performances. We rehearse on Monday evenings in Kingston and focus on mostly-modern secular music in four (or more!) part harmony. Common themes within our music include equality, love 💕 , and celebration of identity in its many forms.

If you love to sing 🎤 , can hold your part confidently, have time to commit, and would be excited to be part of a close-knit q***r group, we’d love to hear from you 🌈 !

We in Key of Q are proud of our longtime association with Hudson River Sloop Clearwater not only for their commitment to protecting the mighty river that runs through the heart of our region, but also because of the folk music legacy of their founder, Pete Seeger.

We have reached the end of our 10th anniversary season! 💜What a journey it’s been. We can’t wait for 10 more years of joy 🥳, pride 🏳️‍🌈, connection 🤗, and 🎶MUSIC🎶
