The Alan R Pearlman Foundation is deeply saddened by the passing of Jack Hotop, a man whose enormous talent was paralleled only by his huge heart.

Jack's career paralleled or intersected the lives of many of the Foundation's Board, via the BSEM - Boston School of Electronic Music, working at KORG US, at Berklee College of Music, or at the NAMM Show

Not only was he a prolific performer and composer, but worked on creating dazzling, inventive worlds with his art ( Jack Hotop )

Jordan Rudess states in his poignant remembrance post: "If you are a keyboardist and ever played a Korg keyboard for sure you were touched by his magic as he created so many of the sounds that we made music with."

Condolences to his family, and to the vast family of music players and lovers. Rest in power, Jack.

We LOVE these synth-wave styled tee shirts... Alan Pearlman would have loved them too, as he was an avid science-fiction fan and these are so evocative of that genre. Keep an eye out for these folk!
