On June 6, 1944, Allied forces launched the largest amphibious invasion in history, attacking the heavily fortified coast of Normandy, France, during World War II. I always enjoy the Awards Ceremonies we do at the end of each school year, but every once in awhile we have the pleasure of giving the award to one of our own. Today was one of those days and I had the great joy of presenting our award to one of our Jr SAL Members, but what made it even more special is that he was my grandson Jax 🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸
