We are incredibly proud of the Hoping Hands 4.0 students for raising $2,400 for Camp Koala! Their kindness, generosity, and dedication to helping others are truly inspiring. A special thank you to their teachers, Mrs. Fontana and Mr. Mark Alexander for teaching lessons that go beyond academics—lessons in philanthropy, compassion, community service, and caring for others. These students are already making a difference, and we couldn't be more grateful for their support. The future is in good hands! ❤️🐨

Our Crisis Team was amazing today, alongside the 4th grade teachers and staff. We worked with 70 grieving children today, creating space for their grief, memories and sadness. Thank you for trusting our team with your students. We were grateful for all of the teachers who shared their own stories and made their own walking sticks to remember their colleague and friend. Thank you, it was an honor to walk alongside you today.

Our next mini camp is on June 16th, at our Mifflinburg center, all students are invited to attend.

Thank you team!!!

Thank you to hero Sam from Tree Solutions, who answered our call! He provided these 75 cut walking sticks for our Crisis Team work tomorrow in Shikellamy.

Thank you for helping make the lives of grieving children more meaningful!

We have 12 amazing volunteers who dropped everything, took a day from their jobs, to serve the students in Shikellamy who lost their beloved teacher. What a great community of helpers, thank you all!!

URGENT need, please help!!

Our Crisis Team is assembling for a school visit this Friday morning. This amazing group of volunteers drops everything to meet an emergency need, and needs your support.

Funds are always helpful, but what would help us most today is STICKS. LIKE 75!!!!

Specifically, we need sturdy, 3-4 foot sticks to make WALKING STICKS out of. They need to be older, seasoned wood, not freshly cut. Also stripped of bark so the students can decorate them. About 2-3" in diameter, cut and not sharp or dangerous.

Please, no yard debris or sticks that aren't bark stripped and cut to length, and ready to go, because we don't have a lot of time to work on them. Thanks for understanding!

As you may know, we have a very small staff of two, and we are both currently attending a 2 day nonprofit conference. We are hoping for some help to make this very special activity impactful for a lot of grieving kids who lost their beloved teacher.

If you can help, please drop off your donations at our office side porch, at 94 Chestnut St in downtown Mifflinburg by Thursday evening.

THANK YOU TO THIS AMAZING COMMUNITY OF HELPERS!!!
Xoxo Kristin and Lisa
