Important Notice:

The primary step to avoid frozen pipes during cold weather is to leave a small drip running from your sink(s). This ensures a continuous water flow, reducing the risk of freezing.

Also remember if for whatever reason you need heating, chaverim has emergency heaters available for use.

Tonight, our Chaverim of NEPA members swiftly assisted a stranded family with a flat tire in Scranton and provided several heaters to another family coping with a broken heating system in Kingston. Community support is at the heart of our mission.

Last night 10PM Chaverim helped a family get back into their home after mistakenly getting locked out.

Chaverim of NEPA got to call one day last week at 11:00 p.m. for a bat in a house that they needed help getting it removed.

One brave member responded with necessary equipment and got the bat out of the house, bringing it across the street and letting it free with no harm to the bat!
