The Founding Lodge of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society. The Official Facebook What is the Order of the Arrow and what is Unami Lodge?

Sometimes referred to as the OA, the Order of the Arrow is Scouting's National Honor Society. It is a brotherhood of honored Scouts and Scouters who promote scout camping and perform service to others. The order is for those scouts and scouters who best exemplify the Scout oath and law in their daily life. Nearly every Scout Council in the nation has an OA Lodge associated with it. In the Cradle of Liberty Council, the OA Lodge is Unami Lodge One. We are the first lodge for the OA as it was founded on Treasure Island Scout Reservation in 1915. Similarly, our Lodge has a Chapter representing each District in the Council. The Chapter takes the same name as the District.

This past weekend, at Unami Lodge, One's Spring Service Two, six Arrowmen were called out to complete their Vigil Honor.

It is reserved for those Arrowmen who have made distinguished contributions beyond the immediate responsibilities of their position or office. The Vigil Honor recognizes an individual's exceptional service, personal efforts, and unselfish interests.

On behalf of Unami Lodge, One we would like to congratulate the following Arrowmen:
