We are thrilled to invite you to the 2nd Annual Cradle of Liberty Golf Classic! Following the success of our inaugural event, we return to the stunning Waynesborough Country Club on Monday, August 24, 2026. Just down the street from where the pro’s competed at May’s PGA Championship, continue the celebration of golf and scouting in Greater Philadelphia!

By joining us for a premier round of golf, you are directly supporting Scouting programs in communities across Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties. Your participation ensures these life-changing opportunities reach the youth who need them most. Spots are filling up quickly, so sign up before they run out.

Thank you to all the units who participated in the Hike-A-Thon this year. It really was a great year and we had a lot of units give their all and help raise a lot of funds for their adventures!

If your unit participated please keep an eye out on your email as we are working to close things out and if you didn't participated consider adding it to your plan for 2027!

*Celebrate July 4th at Valley Forge with Scouting History!*

The *Cradle of Liberty Council, Scouting America* is excited to be part of the *50/250 Celebration: Retreat to Valley Forge* at *Valley Forge National Historical Park* on *July 4, 2026*!

This special celebration marks both the *50th anniversary of Valley Forge National Historical Park* and the *250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence*.

Cradle of Liberty Council will be on-site sharing a *Scouting history display*, highlighting the powerful connection between Scouting and Valley Forge — including the historic *Boy Scouts of America Jamborees held at Valley Forge in the 1950s and 1960s*.

Bring the whole family out for a day of history, celebration, and community! The event will include living history demonstrations, music, activities, shuttle service throughout the park, and special family-friendly programming at the National Memorial Arch.

*Date:* Saturday, July 4, 2026
*Cost:* Free to attend

Come celebrate America’s story, Valley Forge’s legacy, and Scouting’s place in that history!

Thank you to everyone who supported the 2026 Greater Philadelphia Good Scout Service Award honoring Ambassador David L. Cohen. Congratulations to Ambassador Cohen on receiving the Good Scout Award, and for amazing support of our community. It was an amazing evening featuring speakers including Ambassador Cohen who spoke about the impact scouting is having in Philadelphia and the entire Greater Philadelphia region!
