Look who got adopted!!!! Henry is living his best life despite a rough start. When Dr. Jayne Aldrich called us for help we were honored to be a part of Henry’s story. With broken hips and a huge heart our volunteers got Henry to Colorado Animal Rescue for his surgery. The team at CARE has been incredible for this rural Colorado pup and now he gets the loving life he deserved.

Thank you Dr. Jayne and you team. Thank you to our transport team, Kyle Bartolo and Amanda Huff. Happy endings are the BEST!

Welcome Thor!

🖤Great Pyrenees
🩵10 months old
🖤 60 pounds
🩵Dog friendly
🖤Human friendly

Thor was found dumped in rural Colorado. Sadly, this is an all too common occurrence. Many of these dogs are found in areas without shelters or holding facilities, leaving them with very few options.

That’s where Pawsitive Pathways steps in. 🩵🖤🩵
We bring these dogs into our program, complete temperament and behavioral evaluations, address their medical needs, and help them find the forever families they deserve.

Thor’s proving to be one very special boy! This handsome guy is loving, outgoing, and happiest when he’s right by his human’s side. He also loves car rides and is always up for an adventure! 🐾🚗

Although Great Pyrenees are traditionally known for their livestock guardian instincts and independence, we believe Thor would thrive in a family setting where he can be part of everyday life, share adventures, and enjoy the companionship he so clearly loves.

Thor is ready to leave his past behind and begin a new chapter with a family of his very own. Could that family be yours?

Sometimes you just need a friend to lean on.

Miss. Zelda was feeling a bit nervous at the Vet’s office before her spay surgery yesterday but Mr. Survivor held her up like great friends do.

Both Zelda and Survivor are ready for their forever homes. You can message us for more information and check out our website for more details.

We have so much to be grateful for this week!

Today we’re incredibly thankful to The Tiny Tim Rescue Fund for their generosity and grant in support of our program! After speaking with John, the founder of Tiny Tim and fellow Pit Bull lover, we were reminded of just how important community is in the animal welfare world.

Animal rescue is a team effort, and it takes people coming together to make a difference, even from across the country. Dogs everywhere need advocates, support, and second chances, and we simply couldn’t do the work we do without generous supporters like John!

We encourage you to check out The Tiny Tim Rescue Fund’s hand-designed dog-themed merchandise, which helps support shelters and rescues across the country. It’s a fun way to show your love for dogs while giving back to those working hard to help them!

Thank you John and Tiny Tim, for being part of our village and helping us make a difference for dogs in rural Colorado. We’re so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for animals!

Shop the Tiny Tim Marketplace: Giftable, printed-on-demand merchandise that is perfect for the rescue person in your life. 100% of the profits of each sale goes to help support the life saving work of our rescue partners. Designed with love by John Bartlett, each piece celebrates the legacy of John....

A huge THANK YOU to Petfinder and KONG for generously providing our pups with enrichment toys! We were so excited to win a KONG Toy Grant. GiGi and Liberty were more than happy to lend a paw and help unpack all the fun!

Mental stimulation and enrichment are vital parts of our program - key to helping our dogs build confidence, decompress, stay engaged, and enjoy overall happier, healthier lives. We’re so grateful for these toys and the opportunities they provide for our pups!

Thank you for helping us make a difference... one toy, one dog, one happy tail at a time!
