Congratulations to Mariann Woodruff and Mason Schott for their success in the Ohio State Fair Poultry Shows!

Mariann's Narragansett tom won Jr. Fair Grand Champion Breeding Turkey and her Sebastopol gander won Reserve Grand Champion Waterfowl. The same gander had earlier won Grand Champion Goose in the Open Class poultry show.

At the Sale of Champions, Mariann was recognized as the recipient of a Poultry Exhibitor Scholarship and also received the Ohio Expositions Commission Chair's Scholarship. She is pictured with Gov. Mike DeWine and Adam Heffron, Executive Director of the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair.

Mariann and Mason were recognized for being in the Poultry Outstanding Market Exhibitor Top 10. This award is based on a combination of placing in the skillathon, showmanship and market animal placing. Mariann won the 18-year old skillathon.

Mason is pictured with Gov. Mike DeWine and Executive Director of the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair, Adam Heffron, receiving an Ohio State Fair Animal Exhibitor belt buckle for being the 12-year old Poultry Outstanding Market Exhibitor.
