There will be three weapons demonstrations held throughout the day this year!

However, Back in Time at the Barn is an all-day living history experience! Meet reenactors throughout the day, explore historical displays, and pick up a free Liberty Garden Kit while supplies last.

Step back to the early years of the United States at this year's Back in Time at the Barn!

Meet a reenactor portraying a soldier of the U.S. 19th Infantry, Langham's Company, and discover what military life was like during the War of 1812. Learn about the equipment, uniforms, and experiences of the soldiers who helped defend the young nation during America's "Second War of Independence."

Throughout the day, visitors will also have the opportunity to witness demonstrations of a Daniel King Howitzer and an M1803 Harper's Ferry flintlock rifle, bringing the sights and sounds of the early 19th century to life.

Be sure to stop by and experience this exciting chapter of American history!

Did you know that hobos developed their own symbols to communicate with one another?

At Back in Time at the Barn, you'll have the opportunity to meet two hobo reenactors at our historic caboose, built right here in Kenton. Learn about life on the rails, discover the meanings behind hobo signs, and hear stories of the men and women who traveled America's railroads in search of work and opportunity.

Stop by to explore this fascinating and often-overlooked chapter of American history!
