This Memorial Day, Hardin County Historical Museums honors and remembers the brave men and women from our community who served our nation with courage and sacrifice. Their stories continue to shape the history of Hardin County and remind us of the cost of freedom.

We are also deeply grateful for the many local organizations, veterans groups, volunteers, churches, civic groups, and community members across Hardin County who work each year to preserve the memory of our veterans through ceremonies, flags, memorial displays, grave decorations, and acts of remembrance. Your dedication ensures that these sacrifices are never forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we pause to reflect on those who gave their lives in service to our country and honor the legacy they left behind. 🇺🇸
