Reminder that this Friday, 5/22/26, is the last day to register for the Planting with Purpose event happening at the Hardin SWCD office on May 30th from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. We will be talking about growing Ohio natives and enjoying a guided nature walk in the Friendship Garden! Executive Director – Blanchard River Watershed Partnership

Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP), a regional conservation 501c3 organization, seeks a candidate for an Executive Director position for the Blanchard River watershed.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the guidance of the BRWP Board, the Executive Director will be responsible for providing leadership in watershed planning by working with government agencies, non-profits, and individual citizens. The Executive Director will secure funding to maintain operations of the organization which will include grant writing and development of fundraising strategies. Excellent public relations, writing, and presentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities include coordination, planning and education among various stakeholders, organizing board, committee and community meetings, preparing reports, and coordinating volunteers.

The Executive Director is a 20-hour per week contracted position and may require a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

An associate or bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is desired along with a strong interest in water quality and environmental issues.

Beginning salary, dependent upon qualifications and experience, is $20.00-$25.00 per hour not to exceed $26,000 plus mileage. The Executive Director will begin his or her duties June 1, 2026.
