🏊💦Today was a milestone day for The Brady Effect!!

For the first time ever, we were able to sponsor adaptive swim lessons, helping 12 individuals in Delphos gain access to life-saving water safety skills and confidence in the water.

For many children on the autism spectrum, water can be both a source of joy and a significant safety risk. Studies have shown that children with autism are more likely to wander and are at an increased risk of drowning. That’s why access to specialized swim instruction is so important.

Adaptive swim lessons meet each swimmer where they are, providing individualized support while teaching critical water safety skills, building confidence, and creating opportunities for independence and recreation.

We are incredibly grateful for the partnerships and support that made this possible. Sponsoring these 12 lessons is just the beginning of what we hope will become a growing program that helps more families gain access to adaptive swim instruction.
Every child deserves the opportunity to be safe in and around water.

Some people leave a mark on everyone they meet.

Brady was one of those people.

His kindness, humor, and ability to make others feel welcome continue to inspire everything we do through The Brady Effect. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t wish he was still here, but because of the impact he had on so many lives, his story continues.

Every life preserver installed, every swim lesson funded, and every family supported is a reminder that one person can make a lasting difference.

The Making Waves Golf Classic is more than a fundraiser, it’s a day to celebrate Brady’s life, honor his legacy, and continue the work of creating safer, more inclusive waters for individuals on the autism spectrum.
