Ever wonder why Ohio's Biggest Small Town Christmas Parade steps off on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving?

Just like the famous Macy's parade, our parade marks the official kickoff to the holiday season in Hardin County! When Tom Turkey leads the way and Santa arrives on the Courthouse Square, we turn on the lights, unveil Window Wonderland, and officially open the season of giving, family gatherings, and shopping local.

In America, Christmas is both a cherished faith tradition and a beloved civic celebration. Our parade brings those two worlds together—celebrating the light, warmth, and small-town togetherness that makes our community special, while creating space for every family and house of worship to honor the true meaning of the season in their own way.

Join us on Tuesday, November 24 as we light up the square, support our downtown merchants, and celebrate the heart of our community!

Last night’s winners for the Kenton Lions Club cash raffle were Jessika Stinson $500.00 and Joe Burgbacher $1,000.00. Thank you to those who supported the Kenton Lions Club and the
Kenton Historic Courthouse District for a fantastic event.

The sun is shining, the music is playing, and the b**r is flowing! The weather held off and you couldn't ask for a better evening.

Come out to the square and enjoy one of the last summer weekends in style! The Lions are here in full force serving suds, w**e, white claws, and even jello shots! All proceeds go to support our Pioneer Park project.

Don't forget we are selling raffle tickets leading up to tonight's drawing for $1,000 and $500 prizes. Tickets are a $20 donation, and are also tax-deductible as we are a 501C3 non-profit!
