Seeking her furever home.

Name: Astrid
Age: A lady never tells. (But probably around 2-ish.)
Relationship Status: Single and accepting applications for a forever family.
Occupation: Retired mother of five. Full-time conversationalist. Part-time toe hunter.

A little about me...

I've had a busy start to life. I was found as a stray raising five newborn kittens in a garage before a kind family called Mighty Meow Kitten Rescue. I successfully raised my babies, retired from motherhood, and now I think it's finally time for me to be someone's baby. ❤️

I'm an incredibly sweet, laid-back girl who loves cheek scratches, head rubs, string toys, cozy beds, and talking to my humans.

And I do mean talking.

Ask me how my day was? I'll tell you.
Ask me what I think about dinner? I'll tell you.
Don't ask me anything? I'll still tell you.

I also have a deep appreciation for the finer things in life—specifically, cardboard boxes. Fancy cat bed? Lovely. Expensive cat tree? Very nice. Empty Amazon box someone forgot to recycle? Now we're talking. I love playing in them, hiding in them, and especially curling up inside one for a good nap.

I can be a little shy with new people, but give me some time to decide you're trustworthy and I'll warm right up. Once you're one of my people, I love curling up beside you at night.

There is, however, one rule:

Keep. Your. Toes. Under. The. Blanket.

Exposed bedtime toes are fair game. I don't make the rules. Actually...yes, I do.

Other cats? I'm an experienced roommate. I currently live with a whole crew of feline foster siblings and get along with them just fine. I'm confident, independent, and happy to share—I just believe in healthy boundaries. If another kitty gets a little too pushy, I'll remind them that Astrid is not the one. 😉

My Perfect Match 💘

I'm looking for a laid-back, loving family who will give me a little time to settle in, plenty of cheek scratches, a string toy or two, and someone willing to listen to all my very important opinions. I can happily share my home with feline friends, but I wouldn't complain about soaking up all the attention myself either.

Must be willing to provide an occasional cardboard box. I have standards.

I've already spent part of my life taking care of my five babies. Now I'm ready to find someone who wants to take care of me. ❤️
