John Goldsbury Award

Each year, the Pasco-Kennewick Rotary presents the John Goldsbury Award to one Kennewick Police officer and one Pasco Police officer. The award recognizes officers who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the highest standards of modern policing and the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”

This year’s Kennewick Police Department recipient was School Resource Officer Tim Harris, and the Pasco Police Department recipient was Officer Adam Wright.

Both officers have nearly 20 years of service to our community and consistently demonstrate the professionalism, dedication, and commitment this award represents.

Congratulations to Officer Harris and Officer Wright for going above and beyond in service to our communities every day!

Fur Babies and The Fuzz

This morning dayshift officers got the opportunity to take part in the City of Pasco Government annual Fur Babies and The Fuzz adoption event.

Officers enjoyed interacting with the public, animals up for adoption, and some of our local partners with Pasco Police and Washington State Patrol.

We want to give a special thank you to City of Pasco Government and Tri-Cities Animal Services. Without their hard work this event would not have been possible.

Just a friendly reminder that the Annual Fur Babies & the Fuzz event is happening tomorrow, Saturday, May 9th, at Tri-Cities Animal Services! The address is 1311 S. 18th Avenue in Pasco. Pasco Police will be there from 10 AM to 2 PM.

This exciting community event brings together local law enforcement, animal lovers, and adorable adoptable pets for a great cause. Officers and first responders from agencies across our community will be there spending time with families, helping pets in our community find loving homes, and connecting with the public in a relaxed and fun environment. It’s a great opportunity to meet some of the amazing people who serve our community every day while also supporting pets in need of loving homes.
