Matti's Farm exists to support, encourage and aid children, young people and their caregivers through the use of agriculture-based programs, education and experiences, as well as to encourage and support sustainable agriculture practices. An ag-based focus provides multiple levels of benefit to young people, such as the development of leadership skills, animal husbandry, gardening, entreprenuria

l experiences, hands-on learning, job skill development, sustainable resource development skills, and so much more!

Fun! Fun! Fun! Rain or Shine us Alaskans are hardcore for having Fun! The City of Kenai’s 9th Annual Fall Pumpkin Festival had 2 hrs of rain followed by the pumpkin drop and last hour with no rain and the sun coming out. Thanks to all those who helped support Matti’s Farm!

Here at Matti's Farm, We Are...

Providing Positive Hands-On Experiences, Thanks to Nature's Gentle Instructors, Nurturing, Developing and Equipping Young Lives, One Hatching Chick, One Unfurling Seed, and One Job Well Done At a Time.

We are working to develop and implement ways to connect young people in at-risk situations with opportunities to experience hands-on farming fun, learning leadership skills, entrepreneurial spirit, confidence and, most of all, HOPE for the future. We are working hard to take our vision and turn it into reality. Join us. This is a vision for the child in all of us.
