Earlier his week, MYC celebrated Red Ribbon Week Monadnock Regional Middle High School, engaging with students during all lunches. Students who visited our table had an opportunity to take a pledge against bullying and drugs, all who participated received a ghost pen, candy, or squishy. Thank you for having us, Huskies!

MYC kicked off Red Ribbon week last week at Keene High School SAU29 . Coalition members engaged with students during all lunches and had over 150 signatures for the pledge to stand up to bullying and drugs! Thank you for having us Black Birds!

Thank you SAU29 for inviting us to table and share resources on Bullying Prevention this month! 🧡

October is National Bullying Prevention Month! At Keene High School, creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every student is our priority.

We recently hosted a Bullying Prevention Table at KHS, where students dropped by to learn more about creating a positive school culture. Bullying prevention starts with everyday actions- including someone new, standing up for a peer, or simply offering a kind word. These small, daily choices build a stronger, safer community for everyone.

Families can continue the conversation at home by:

Talking Together: Discuss the importance of practicing kindness both in school corridors and online.

Encouraging Action: Remind your student to speak up if they see a peer who needs help.

Reaching Out: If your student needs support, encourage them to connect with a trusted KHS teacher, counselor, or administrator.

Together, we can ensure every Blackbird feels safe, respected, and valued!
