RMC Wednesday Session Spotlight

Packaging Innovation & Equipment Solutions Workshop
Sponsored by the AMSA Mentor Recognition Robert Merkel and Roger Mandigo Funds

Hosted at the CRYOVAC® Training Facility in Amarillo, Texas, this workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to learn directly inside Sealed Air’s training center while exploring packaging technologies, equipment, and applications used throughout the meat industry.

Attendees will gain insight into packaging materials, shelf life, product appearance, food safety, and current industry trends and challenges. The session also includes live equipment demonstrations, discussion of career opportunities within the packaging sector, and a preview of AMSA’s new online course offering, Packaging of Meat.
