The future looks bright, and it's wearing college colors.
There is something special about seeing students stand on the edge of their next chapter. Years of studying, late nights, early mornings, activities, challenges, growth, and determination have led to this moment. As they prepare to leave Kearney and begin their college journeys, these four students carry with them not only their accomplishments, but also the support of a community that believes in them.
Rubi Canales will attend Park University to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. She shared that receiving this scholarship reinforced something she has learned through experience—that hard work truly does pay off. She plans to use the funds to help earn her degree and prepare for a future in the classroom.
Emelyn Kane is headed to the University of Missouri. For Emelyn, receiving this scholarship was a meaningful recognition of the hard work and perseverance that helped her reach this milestone. She plans to use the funds toward textbooks and coursework as she begins this exciting new chapter.
Abigail McQuillen is headed to Cedarville University with plans to pursue a career in medicine. She shared that this scholarship will help ease the financial burden of college and medical school, allowing her to continue pursuing a future dedicated to helping others.
Addison Taylor will attend the University of Missouri as she works toward becoming a dietitian. This scholarship will help reduce the financial stress of college expenses, allowing her to focus on her education and future career serving others through health and nutrition.
Behind every scholarship is a student with a dream, a goal, and countless hours of hard work. We are proud to support Rubi, Emelyn, Abigail, and Addison as they take the next step toward their futures.
