Iron Horse Merit Badge Academy
Two sessions: January 31 and February 7
Lenexa, Kansas
Iron Horse District is hosting its annual Merit Badge Forum on January 31st and February 7th, from 9am-noon each Saturday. Scouts need to attend both Saturdays. Lots of Eagle Required Merit Badges are being offered with multiple sessions for the most popular ones.
Registration is required and closes on January 26th, but some classes will fill quickly. $10/scout. Adults/Parents, 2 adults are needed in each merit badge class, so please come and plan to sit in on a MB class.

This is an opportunity for our Scouts to partner with the Cub Scouts in the Pack and our charter organization (Kearney Lions Club) to respectfully retire U.S. Flags. Participation in this event may also fulfill a requirement or two for rank advancement.

Scouts who wish to participate in the ceremony should wear the Field Uniform (Class A).

Only three more days until registration for Fall Induction 1 closes!

Fall Induction 1 returns to H. Roe Bartle Scout reservation, August 1-2!

If you are a new Ordeal or Brotherhood, the next induction is the perfect opportunity to get fully involved with the Lodge. If there are other candidates from your unit who missed this weekend, bring them out and guide them through the process as an Elangomat or Nimat.

Volunteer for the Ceremonial Team or Runners and learn what it takes to conduct the ceremonies and support the extensive logistics of the induction weekend. Or give cheerful service to Scouting America and our camps on a Work Crew.
