WE’RE STILL OPEN AND PROVIDING BEDS!!!

Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides beds to children ages 3-17 who are sleeping in unwanted conditions such as a floor, sofa, or in a bed with parents or siblings. We recently recognized that anyone applying for a bed from us was being told we were closed and not accepting applications. This was limited to our chapter in the Kankakee area and was just a computer glitch we have fixed!

If you or someone you know recently applied for a bed from the Kankakee chapter and were turned down - PLEASE REAPPLY!!!
Apply online for free at: www.shpbeds.org/apply
Are you an agency or nonprofit? You can request a bed on behalf of clients as well!

Tune into WVLI @ 2:18pm today!!!!

Sleep in Heavenly Peace currently has beds READY to be delivered to 80 local kids!

As fall is amping up and the temperatures start dropping, those floors are getting colder. We want to get as many kids OFF THE FLOOR and into their own warm, comfortable beds before winter gets here.

But we need YOUR help to make it happen!

We are looking for teams of 4–6 people who can donate just a couple hours of their time to help us deliver and set up beds for local families.

Grab your coworkers, friends, family, teammates, church group, organization, or just a few people who want to make a difference and put together a delivery team!

A couple hours of your time can completely change where a child sleeps tonight.

If you’re willing to help us get these 80 kids off the floor and into a bed of their own, please reach out!
