The City of Kankakee invites you to celebrate Juneteenth on June 20, 2026 at Pioneer Park!

🕛 Festival: 12 PM – 9 PM
🚶 Parade starts at 10 AM (Downtown Kankakee to Pioneer Park)

The annual Kankakee Juneteenth Parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Freedom Festival and fireworks to follow. A Juneteenth concert will also be hosted Friday night at the Hill Stage in downtown Kankakee.
