As Hawaiʻi Island communities begin assessing the impact of Hurricane Lala, we’re working alongside our partner Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Hawaiʻi to support families in the Kaʻū District. 💛

Today, staff and volunteers prepared diapers, wipes, and baby essentials for families impacted by the storm.

In times like these, it’s our communities coming together that makes a difference. 🌺

🙏Today, we said goodbye to our dear friend and beloved Kūpuna volunteer, Gracie Nomura. 💗

For more than four years, Gracie was a special part of our Aloha Diaper Bank ʻohana. She wrapped diapers, made potty kits, helped at our Windward Mall diaper drives and events, and always seemed to arrive with something delicious to share.

We will miss her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humor, her kindness, and most of all, her presence.

Our hearts and prayers are with her daughter Cindy and her family. We are forever grateful for the love, laughter, and aloha Gracie shared with all of us.

Rest in aloha, Gracie. Fly with the angels. You will always be a cherished part of our ʻohana. 💕

What an incredible evening! Our Sake & Sushi Night was a wonderful success, and we are so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate and support Aloha Diaper Bank. 💕

A very special mahalo to Valerie Joseph for all of the heart, energy and support she poured into making the night so special, and to the fabulous POSHd models for bringing so much style, fun and excitement to the evening. 👗✨

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the Maui community whose strength and aloha continue to inspire us.

In the days following the fires, Aloha Diaper Bank came alongside families during an unimaginable time. Three years later, our commitment to Maui has not ended. Through our mobile diaper van and the support of the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation Maui Strong Fund, we continue reaching families who need diapers and essential supplies.

We are deeply grateful for our partners Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Hawaiʻi and Baby2Baby, and for everyone who has helped us continue showing up for Maui.

We’re honored to receive a grant from the Atherton Family Foundation, administered by the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation.

This support will help Aloha Diaper Bank provide diapers, pull-ups, baby wipes, and other essentials to Hawaiʻi families experiencing diaper need.

Last year, we distributed more than 1.3 million diapers and supported over 15,000 keiki across our islands. Together, we’re building stronger families and healthier communities—one diaper at a time. 🌺
