Kaneohe Lions Club A community organization of businesses, professionals, and tradecrafts serving the Kaneohe community. We are proud to be one of these 46,000.

From its beginning in 1949, the Kaneohe Lions Club has been committed to local volunteer service and helping on a broader scale when needed. Our membership is composed of men and women with aloha for our community who are pleased to follow the Lions motto, “We Serve.”

In keeping with the Lions Clubs International emphasis on vision, we sponsor Eyeglass Collection Boxes in various Kaneohe locatio

ns and visual screening and poster contests in elementary schools. We have “adopted” Hoomaluhia Botanical Garden, where we do quarterly workdays. Among other community projects, we assist with the Kaneohe Christmas Parade, the City & County’s Summer Fun Makahiki at the Kaneohe Regional Park, and periodic graffiti clean-ups. We host social events during the year for our members and guests, and we welcome potential new members who share our commitment to service and goodwill. Beautiful celebration of Lion Chris (C.J.) Kalopodes at the City & County Elderly Affairs, RSVP Luncheon at Ko’olau Ballroom. He was in the running for senior volunteer of the year for his three decades of community service as a Kane’ohe Lion. And of course, loyal companion and member B.J Kalopodes was with him. Congratulations to Carol Tashima another Lions member who got top award.
