Just like our growing programs our staff is growing too! ✨Haʻe we’re so excited to have you on our team. 🔨

Haʻe currently resides in Kula, Maui, with deep-rooted pilina with Pāʻia and Piʻiholo through familial and cultural connections. As an alakaʻi under the guidance of Kumu Kealiʻi Reichel and Kumu Henohea Kāne, as a head bowling coach, and as an aunty, she has found a passion for working with youth, supporting their endeavors, and sparking hope for brighter futures.

She has worked with various creatives on Maui, filming promotional content for local artists, music videos, concerts/live events, interviews, and much more. Haʻe is looking forward to working with Maui Huliau to educate Maui’s youth about local and environmental issues and inspire them to find and/or be the solutions.

🎥🎶 This year’s Huliau Food & Film Festival is bringing you a full night of entertainment! Our film interns Cailin, Yzabelle, and Nainoa spent the summer capturing local stories, from farm visits with Simple Roots, Mother Mushroom, and Moku Roots 🌱, to documenting our EcoAdventure Moku o Kula program as students explored partners from mauka to makai 🌊⛰️. Their short films will premiere live at the festival!

Setting the tone for the evening is live music from Piʻilani Arias 🎤, a Maui-born singer, songwriter, and musician with over 20 years of experience sharing island-style storytelling through song. Farm-fresh food, student films, and live music, don’t miss it! 🎟️
