Here we go.
I know you just love my beautiful pictures, but they are so important.
We have 30 cats going today. Because this load was so hard to fill we are cutting our run next month to 20 cats.
We had 9 empty male spots and 1 no show last litter mom. Next months cats will be our “last litter moms” for awhile. This is expensive and there are just too many kittens right now. Plus we just took kittens and the mom didn’t show up for surgery. Now she’s probably pregnant because her kittens have been gone a week. Disappointing!
When cats don’t show and appointments aren’t filled we have to fill the spots. I had to take in 4 extra kittens so we could fill spots because all our current kittens are too small or don’t qualify because of uri, ringworm and all the other fun things kittens get.
Stress, stress, stress. So our 7/29/26 appointment is only 20 cats and I’m going to push people to other surgery options so I can relax a bit, not stress about filling these spots.
With that being said, we have 4 TNR cats, 13 owned cats, 3 last litter moms, 2 rescue moms and 8 rescue kittens.
