Pulled up home to the poor mail lady lugging these boxes in.

We really appreciate the support. I’m not sure if the cats like the canned food more or the boxes with the paper they can play in for hours.

A little about me…
I started life as a wild little girl, but I’ve discovered that people can be pretty wonderful. My caregiver describes me as sweet and affectionate—not the distant, “you may admire me from across the room” type.

I’ve also had a rough chapter. About six weeks ago, I suffered a crushed pelvis, a badly sprained front leg, and a broken tail. Someone kind got me to the vet and kept me inside while I healed.

These days, I walk with a little limp and use three legs when I run. My steps may be imperfect, but my interest in being loved is very sincere.

My ideal date?
You, me, a cozy blanket, and absolutely no plans to go anywhere. Tell me about your day. We can take our time getting to know each other. I’m looking for the kind of love that stays.

What I need from my match…
🏡 A safe indoor home. My mobility makes outdoor life especially risky, and I can’t climb to safety the way other cats might.
💛 Patience while I settle in and show you who I am.

Home to Home Adoption Needed

Hi. I’m hoping you can help find this kitten a home. She’s about 6 mo old. She’s a ferel to friendly. She’s already spayed.

She was badly injured about one month 1/2 ago. I took her immediately to the vet. She had a crushed pelvis on her right side, a badly sprained front leg and broken tail. I kept her in to heal.

She’s healed now, but hindered. She has a small limp when she walks. When she runs she uses 3 legs. She can’t climb & hang on to a tree if she needs. I can’t keep her inside, but putting her out is a big risk because the area has coyotes.

I call her "legs". She is a short hair tabby. Very long legs, long body, long tail female. She might be plain looking, but she's very beautiful and very affectionate..not standoffish.

Any help would be appreciated.

Today’s CCP cats.

Thank you Woodland Wa Feral Cats for contacting me after you didn’t catch your cats yesterday.

I have a list of people who need cats fixed. A message at 9:44 pm works for me.

Some of these people waiting for appointments have cats that are already confined. Strays that showed up, someone catching kittens or taking in moms with kittens. Whatever the situation is, they need appointments and don’t mind being on call.

Appointments are scarce and hard to get so it’s a shame to waste appointments and trapping isn’t always successful. Whether the cat doesn’t come to eat or has already been fixed. It means empty appointments.

So today we have 3 cats getting surgery at Humane Society for Southwest Washington Longview Campus.

This leaves one female cat who escaped this morning left on this site to finish out of 14 cats total. One male kitten lost a leg and the caretakers are keeping him and going to fix him once he’s older.

This all started at a house that never had cats. Someone dropped off 3 cats and left them at a dead end country road.

Okay. Another shout out for trap round ups!

Anyone not using their traps and want to put them to good use?

New upcoming things on the horizons and we need as many as possible to loan out for trapping.

Please, please, please?

Anyone want to purchase them for the rescue? Tru catch are AWESOME traps. I purchased one years ago and had 4 donated to our rescue, but would LOVE more. And I’ve heard Tomahawk are good also.

Other big things are a drop trap. I tried to talk my friend into letting me buy hers, but she wouldn’t budge. Have to get my paperwork done so I can apply for grants. So much work!
