This new show features spotlight artist Andrea Traphagen and 4 other local artists expressing what summer feels like through their unique original artwork.
Andrea says this about her work:
“Beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder. For me this statement rings true as I enjoy capturing the beauty I behold in watercolors, acrylics, and mixed media. I have been practicing my art for over 50 years. If you were to ask me about my style, I’d call it impressionism mixed with magical realism. Because for me, life is joy.”
She’s joined by photographers Jack Androvich & Danielle Traphagen, Merrilee Asla Lee and Marie Wise who will “frame” her work on the Asla-Art Gallery Wall at Willie Dick’s First St. Tap House in Kalama.
The show opens Thursday June 4th at 5-7 PM with a “happening” featuring gallerist Terryl Asla who will do his popular “art wall walk” pairing the art with wines to best express them.
We hope you can join us. Families are welcome. Excellent food and drink is available for purchase.
The show runs through August 9th and can be seen anytime during Willie Dick’s regular business hours 11-9 seven days a week.
