We can hardly believe we’re already four weeks into our fall semester at Rooted Together Homeschool Co-op! ❤️ It has been such a joy to see friendships growing, curiosity sparking, and our kids learning together in so many different ways.
📚 Here’s what our students have been up to on class days!
💰 3rd–5th Grade: Learning practical money skills in Money Masters and putting on their scientist hats in Hypothesis Hunters, where they ask questions, test ideas, and explore the world around them!
🎭 1st–2nd Grade: Bringing stories to life in Reader’s Theater, exploring new places in Travel the World, and getting creative in the kitchen with Little Chefs.
🗺️ Kindergarten: Learning all about their place in the world in Me on the Map and exploring their creativity with Nature Crafts.
🎵 Preschool: Building routines and learning about days, dates, and seasons in Calendar Time, while singing, dancing, and moving in Music & Movement!
🌿 And our new Community Days have been a HIT!
One of our favorite additions this semester has been getting out into our community and learning together beyond the classroom. So far, we’ve:
🥾 Hiked the trails at Whipple Creek
🌱 Learned about a co-op family’s microgreens business
🎨 Painted rocks at Abrams Park
🚒 Visited a local fire station
We love creating opportunities for our kids to learn through hands-on experiences, build meaningful friendships, support one another, and connect with the people and places in our community.
