Our officer team, FFA members, and agriculture science teachers knocked it out of the park today! The annual NHS Agriculture Department first pay day teacher appreciation breakfast started dark and early, as the blackstone griddles were fired up before 5 AM 🍳

🌟 Thank you to our wonderful Northwest High School staff that keep our students safe and classrooms conducive, day after day!

🌟 Thank you to our agriculture science teachers for believing in our future and the future of agriculture!

🌟 Thank you to our Northwest FFA members for waking up early and helping us make this a success!

Today, we introduce our 2026-2027 Northwest FFA President, Gabee Dattola!

Hey y’all! My name is Gabee Dattola, and I will be serving as your 2026-2027 Northwest FFA President. I compete in horse judging, Livestock judging for my CDE, Sr Quiz as my LDE, Animal Science for my SDE, also I show 5 show goats and 1 heifer. One fun fact about me is that my first year showing in 7th grade i won county showmanship. I cannot wait to get to know everyone, lend a hand, and have as much fun as possible!

Hey y’all! My name is Jensen Taylor, and I am honored to serve as your Northwest FFA Vice President for my senior year. Over the past four years, FFA has given me incredible leadership opportunities, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable memories, whether I was showing goats, serving our community, or competing in events like Milk Quality and Ag Advocacy. Serving as an officer has been one of my greatest blessings, helping me grow into a more confident leader while serving our chapter. I am so excited for the year ahead and look forward to connecting with each of you!

Today, we are proud to introduce to you our 2026-2027 Northwest FFA Secretary, Hayden Deal 🌽

Hey y’all! My name is Hayden Deal, and I will be serving as your 2026–2027 Chapter Secretary. I love Ag Skills for my LDE because it builds leadership and teamwork. For my CDE, I compete in Poultry Judging thanks to Ms. Smith pushing me to challenge myself with one of the hardest contests. For my SDE, I show Boer goats, which has taught me hard work, discipline, and to never give up on what you’re passionate about. I’m excited to get to know all of you and will do my part to make it a fun year!

Let’s introduce our 2026-2027 Northwest FFA Treasurer, Gemma Openshaw 💵

Hey y’all! I’m Gemma Openshaw, and I will be serving as the treasurer of the Northwest FFA Chapter this year. I compete in Plant ID, Dairy Cattle as my CDE, Chapter Conducting, Quiz, and Creed speaking as my LDE. My SAE is Dairy Goats and Service Dogs. One fun fact about me is that I am the only person in the NISD FFA chapters that show an alpine! And I am so excited to get to know all of y’all this year!

5 DAYS BEFORE FUNDRAISING FUN BEGINS 🎉

Today we will introduce our 2026-2027 Northwest FFA Reporter, Brooklyn Everitt 🇺🇸

Hi y’all! My name is Brooklyn Everitt, and I’ll be serving as your 2026–2027 Chapter Reporter! For my LDEs, I’ve competed in both Creed Speaking and Radio Broadcasting. I’ve always been a big horse lover, so for my CDE, I enjoy competing on our Horse Judging team! I also love showing dairy goats and volunteering at a horse ranch as for SAE projects. One fun fact about me is that I love to write! My biggest dream is to publish my first book before college. I’m excited to take my passion for writing and apply it to my role as Chapter Reporter this upcoming year by highlighting our chapter’s accomplishments and serving to the best of my abilities!

Hey y’all! My name is Natalie Hickok, and I will be serving as your 2026-2027 Chapter Sentinel. I compete in cotton judging, and Milk quality for my CDE, and Ag skills as my LDE. One fun fact about me? I am on the varsity swim team! I can not wait to meet new people in our chapter and am proud to be part of an organization that continues to challenge me, teach me, and help me grow!
