Meet Marvin!

Marvin is a 3-month-old Lab mix puppy with a heart as big as his adorable puppy-dog eyes. His story began in a dirt lot behind an old apartment complex, where he was born to a very young mama dog who simply didn’t know how to care for her newborn puppies. Thankfully, we were able to rescue the entire family and give them the safe, loving start they deserved.

Now thriving in foster care, Marvin has blossomed into a sweet, social, and happy puppy. He loves playing with other dogs, enjoys meeting new people, and is always ready to make a new friend. Don’t let his frumpy expression fool you—this boy is 100% cuddle bug! Marvin loves nothing more than snuggling up in your lap, soaking up affection, and being close to his people.

Marvin is already doing wonderfully with potty training and is learning that his crate is a safe and cozy place. Smart, affectionate, and eager to please, he’s the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and snuggly companion. Whether he’s wrestling with his canine friends, exploring the world around him, or curling up for a nap, Marvin brings joy wherever he goes.

Meet Jesse! 🐾❤️

If happiness had four paws and a wagging tail, it would be Jesse.

At just 6 months old, this sweet boy wakes up every day excited to see what adventure is next. Whether he’s chasing a ball, playing with his foster siblings, or giving you those irresistible puppy dog eyes, Jesse lives life with pure joy.

He’s already potty trained, crate trained, rides great in the car, and loves a good game of fetch. Jesse adores kids, loves everyone he meets, and is looking for an active family that will help him continue learning as he grows.

One thing we know for sure—Jesse would love a home with another playful dog. Having a canine sibling gives him confidence, helps burn off all that puppy energy, and gives him a best friend to grow up with.

This handsome boy has so much love to give. All he’s missing is a family to call his own.

Some dogs are looking for a home.

Yogi is looking for his person.

The kind of person who wants a best friend by their side through life’s ordinary moments. Someone to join them on walks, keep them company while they work, and curl up nearby at the end of a long day.

Yogi is an affectionate boy who craves connection. He loves being part of the family and has a way of making you feel like you’re the most important person in the room. His loyalty runs deep, and once he loves you, he loves you with his whole heart.

He’s attentive, eager to please, and happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing. At night, he’ll happily accept a few snuggles before finding his own cozy place to sleep—whether that’s his crate, a dog bed, or the couch nearby.

Yogi does have a strong prey drive, so he’ll need a home without cats or small animals. What he lacks in feline friendships, he more than makes up for with his devotion to his people.

Today is the last day of Amazon Prime Day, and we would be so grateful for your support.

As a small rescue, we rely heavily on donations and wish list purchases to keep going. Lately, we’ve taken in several animals requiring extensive medical care, and those costs add up quickly. Every bag of food, every cleaning supply, every toy, every medical item helps us provide the care these animals deserve.

Right now, rescues across Texas are facing an overwhelming pet overpopulation crisis. Shelters are full, stray animals continue to enter the system, and there simply are not enough foster homes available.

Fostering is one of the most powerful ways you can save a life. When you open your home to a rescue pet, you give them a safe place to heal, learn, grow, and prepare for their forever family. ❤️

At Allie’s Haven Animal Rescue, our foster families are never alone. Our rescue dogs are:
🐾 Temperament tested before we pull a dog
🐾 Fully vetted by the rescue
🐾 Supported by an experienced team of volunteers
🐾 Provided all necessary supplies

You provide the love and a temporary home — we provide the support, guidance, and resources.

🎆 Fireworks are coming. Prepare now, not the weekend of July 4th.

Every year, animal shelters see an increase in lost pets after fireworks. Even animals who have never shown fear before can panic, jump fences, slip collars, bolt through doors, or hide in dangerous places.

Now is the time to:

🐾 Make sure microchip information is current
🐾 Check that collars and ID tags are secure
🐾 Create a safe, quiet space inside your home
🐾 Talk to your veterinarian about anxiety support if needed
🐾 Start practicing calming routines before the fireworks begin

As an animal rescue, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly a scared pet can become a lost pet.

A little preparation today can make all the difference next week.

Please don’t wait until the fireworks start.
