Sweet cheyenne left this morning.! She is going to the layla rose rescue in Aledo to get trained up and later on adopted out through their rescue!. This girl didn’t have much of a problem getting loaded in the trailer.

This was such a bitter sweet moment this morning knowing that all of our horses have found amazing homes.! All but Geronimo!! Although it has made me feel like a failure in a way i am beyond thankful for all of the lives we have saved in such a short time. That was our goal save these guys rehabilitate and vet them to be able to adopt them out!.

Once baby Maddi is here and we are in the clear to rescue or start pulling again we will.! I however will be approaching rescue completely different in the future to insure we are set up correctly.! That all being said we hope to purchase a trailer and property in the mean time to cut out transporting fees as well as boarding fees!.

The boys and i are out here trying to get the stalls and paddocks cleaned up since after the rain and then the water pipes busting and flooding everything i can finally move the wheel barrel somewhat outside.!

I am not sure how much the three of us are going to actually accomplish but i figured we could at least give it a go!.

Happy Turkey day Rustic Draft followers.!!

We have so much to be thankful for this year! We have been able to save so many lives in just the short time we have been here.! I am so thankful for you all whom have helped save each one of these precious souls!

Everyone except Cheyenne and Geronimo have families to spend this thanksgiving with!. Peyton and I are going to take those two extra lovens today carrots, alfafa, more hay.!!

The board has been frozen for days now! 😳

We have only two ROUNDBALES left so we will need to have some more delivered. We haven't even be able to raise enough to cover the last load just yet but I KNOW WE CAN IF WE WORK TOGETHER!!! Each round bale is $120. We will need 20 of them if possible!!!

I am at the hospital for the day getting my Rhogam.

So the kids are at grandma and grandpas taking riding lessons on Blaze! The boys are hanging with Poppa and gammy!. Don’t mind their outfits it was a very early morning for us with a 2 hour drive.!

George and Mae spent this past weekend with their boy Blaze! How sweet is it that Blaze fell asleep on George.?!

I am beyond grateful that these two have such a wonderful home.

LOOK WHO I GOT AN UPDATE ON THIS MORNING!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Apollo (aka Chance)

Ms. Catherine rescued him a new big brother.!

“He is so sweet too. He is 15. And there was a guy at the auction trying to buy him to make him continue to pull a carriage. I said nope not happening. He needed a very soft place to land. He had open wounds that needed tending to. We are officially closed to more horses for a very long time lol. I was supposed to be done after Apollo. But when I saw him there I just couldn’t stand it. I had to promise to my husband NO MORE HORSES. But now once Micah is all healthy we have 2 drafts we can ride together when my husband is home. And Apollo has 2 big brothers now lol. Also the vet said Apollo will end up being bigger than Micah. She feels that Apollo is going to be MONSTER size!”

Her vet also said that they expect apollo to mature BIGGER than his new brother!.! 😱😱😱

He is looking so great! Look at all that weight he has on him now!. I sure miss this sweet fella but i am so thankful that he has the softest of landings.!
