It is with great sadness that Disabled American Veterans Chapter 26 shares the passing of Sergeant First Class Everett Evans.

Everett dedicated his life to serving his country and, following his Army retirement, continued that commitment through decades of service to veterans across Arkansas. His leadership, humility, and unwavering character left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

This past Saturday, our chapter had the honor of recognizing Everett with a Veteran Recognition Statue in appreciation of his lifetime of service. Looking back, that opportunity has become a memory we will all cherish.

Please keep his wife, family, and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.
