Ever walk into an art gallery and immediately realize you’re going to need more than one look?

That’s the fun of WORLDs OF WONDER, featuring the work of Joel Chapin at the Perrella Gallery.

The exhibition runs September 14 through October 30, 2026, giving you plenty of time to slow down, get curious, and spend a little time with art that asks you to look again.

And if you want the full experience, join us for the Artists’ Reception & Gallery Talk on September 18 from 5:00–7:00 PM. It’s a great chance to connect with artists, supporters, and members of the community.

Twenty-five years later, we still remember where we were.

We remember the lives lost. We remember the families forever changed. We remember the first responders, the helpers, and the countless acts of courage that followed.

On Friday, September 11, the SUNY FMCC campus community will gather at the 9/11 Memorial Site for a special ceremony of remembrance.

The program will include reflections from President Gregory Truckenmiller, R.W. Williams of Mountain Valley Hospice, Flor M. Trespalacios, Ph.D., Joel Chapin, Lou Pabon, and Dan Towne.

After the ceremony, guests are invited to join us in the Student Union for an art exhibit and light refreshments.

Some anniversaries are not about looking back.

They are about making sure we never stop remembering.
