🎤 We KNOW there are some hidden talents out there...

Maybe you sing. Maybe you dance. Maybe you’re a stand-up comedian. Maybe you’ve been working on the perfect Dolly Parton impression for years. Maybe you can paint, perform magic, recite slam poetry, juggle, or do something so specific and unexpected that it defies categorization.

Whatever your talent, we want to see it at YPs Got Talent!

Solo acts, duos, and group performances are all welcome. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s a fun night celebrating the creativity, personality, and hidden talents within our YP community.

Interested in performing? Be sure to complete the performer interest form on our website. This helps us build the best possible lineup and make sure we have the right equipment and setup for your act.

Not quite ready for the spotlight? We’d still love to have you there. Audience members can RSVP to enjoy an evening of entertainment, OPEN BAR featuring beer, wine and caned cocktails, light bites, and plenty of surprises along the way.

Don't forget about our blood drive THIS MONDAY!!

We’re going head-to-head with PEAK - Kingsport Young Professionals , Young Professionals of Bristol , and Young Professionals of Greene County to see who can rally the most donors for a great cause - and you know we have to hold onto our trophy from last year!

The mobile unit will be at the from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, June 22. All donors will receive a t-shirt and large tote bag (colors vary) as a special thank you.

Blood donation typically takes about 45 mins including paperwork and pre-screening - no appointment necessary. You do not have to be a YP member to donate, and first-time donors are absolutely welcome!

Mark you calendars so we can crush the competition (again) and save some lives!

Nothing says summer quite like an evening with the ⚾️

Last week, more than 50 YPs got together to enjoy one of our favorite local traditions. We even got to kick things off by cheering on fellow YP Palmer Cantler as she performed the National Anthem!

A special shoutout also has to go to Patrick and Jordan, two YPs helping make the Doughboys season possible behind the scenes. We’re lucky to have so many members making an impact both on and off the field 💪

Wow! What a night spent with the new President & CEO of Goodwill Industries of Tenneva, Kim Carmichael.

Kim shared how she learned early on that hard work can often outperform natural ability. She encouraged our YPs to be the kind of leaders who outwork, outlearn, and outlast through adaptability and continuous growth!

We also got a behind-the-scenes look at the work Goodwill is doing every day to strengthen our community. Beyond its retail stores, Goodwill creates employment opportunities for individuals facing barriers to workforce participation, including people with disabilities, those in recovery, and individuals rebuilding their lives after involvement with the justice system.

We also discovered some impressive sustainability efforts happening right here in Northeast Tennessee. Polyester textiles can be recycled through Eastman, while cardboard is recycled locally through Domtar, helping keep materials out of landfills and giving them a second life.

We left with a whole new appreciation for what happens after a donation is dropped off and for the lives that are changed because of it. ♻️💙

Toxic leadership is not always obvious, but its impact can be.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Karen Effect: Toxic Leadership at work a few weeks back! This important and thought-provoking workshop was all about recognizing toxic leadership behaviors, navigating difficult workplace dynamics, and becoming more intentional leaders ourselves.

We are so grateful to Dr. Shannon Hogan and James Dzuba of HD Solution Partners for sharing their expertise and creating a space for honest conversation and practical learning. Leadership is not just about gaining skills, it's also about self-awareness and the kind of culture we help create around us.
