It’s time for one of ETBC’s most anticipated events of the year—the Annual Chili Cook-Off and Bad to the Bone Halloween Dance!

Calling All Chili Cooks 🥘
Dust off your favorite recipe and create a chili that will blow the competition away! Please bring your chili hot and ready to serve in a crockpot, along with a serving ladle.

This will be a blind, peer-judged competition. The three most creative and delicious chilis will take home the coveted 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place prizes!

Glow Up and Go Totally ’80s 💀
After dinner, we’re turning up the neon for our Bad to the Bone ’80s Halloween Dance and Costume Party! Come dressed in your favorite interpretation of the decade—bold neon colors, unforgettable characters, iconic styles or a fun look inspired by your favorite ’80s memories.

Be bold. Be bright. Be B-B-B-B-Bad to the Bone!

I’m sorry to report that the Fall Foliage Tour on South Holston Lake has been cancelled due to rainy weather conditions. It’s the best call regarding comfort and safety.

We certainly have plenty on the calendar for the remainder of the year to look forward to. See you all at the meeting on Tuesday.

🐸🇺🇸 THE WILD FROGS ARE RIDING AGAIN! 🇺🇸🐸

The “Wild Frogs” Jet Ski Club is gearing up to join the “Wild Hogs” Jet Ski Club this Sunday at 9:30 AM for a wild run on Boone Lake!

📍 Meet-Up: End of Reedy Creek Cove
🕤 Run Begins: 9:30 AM

We’ll be flying the Stars & Stripes 🇺🇸 from our skis and showing plenty of American spirit as we hit the water together! There might be a special guest helicopter es**rt joining us along the way!

Poker Run 2026 - Part Two ♠️❤️

We had so much participation at the Run this year we had to give it to you in doses! After returning from the glorious first 4 Stops we ended the Run with the 5th card at Allen & Ellen’s Dock. Dinner was served and grilled to perfection by our Grill Masters Don & Roger. All In Poker Hands were dealt by our seasoned dealers Fred, Spencer, Gary and Scott. Gotta give a HUGE shout out to Cindy the Head of the Poker Team!

All three graciously passed on their winnings to our Honor Table Project and Life Jacket Mission. Winners all around!
The celebration continued with food, dancing and door prizes. Happy 250 America 🇺🇸

Thanks to all who support the East Tennessee Boating Club of Boone Lake. Your continued support holds us up in serving the boating community, funding various projects and missions all while having a lot of fun along the way.

Poker Run of 2026 in celebration of 250 America was one for the record books! Fun filled celebration from start to finish.

Huge thank you to our event hosts Fritz & Arlene and Allen & Ellen for the use of their beautiful homes. Congratulations to the amazing Stop hosts Frank & Diane, Dan & Liz, Fred & Gina and Jimmy & Christie.

This year we provided 9 boats to ferry participants around to the Stops in a glorious parade. Our hats are off to the Captains!
