These two sweet boys were found living under a car, fending for themselves just to survive.. something no dog should ever have to do.

Thankfully, they’re now safe with us and settling into foster, where they’re getting the love, comfort, and security they deserve. ❤️

Once they receive the all-clear from the vet, they will be available for foster-to-adopt.

Before that can happen, both puppies need veterinary exams, vaccines, fecals, and deworming. The estimated cost is about $360. While that may not sound like a lot on its own, it adds up quickly when we’re already facing more than $3,000 in outstanding veterinary bills.

Kya Pupdate! 🐾

We are officially one week post-op, and our brave girl had her drain removed today! Her infection is healing beautifully, and somehow Dr. Hanson worked what feels like a miracle by being able to fully close her wound.

But that’s not even the best news…

Kya is starting to stand and walk! 🎉 She can now take up to two steps at a time, and we’re incredibly hopeful that with physical therapy and other treatments, she may continue to regain mobility.

She’ll head back to the vet in two weeks for another recheck and, hopefully, suture removal. Since she’s now off crate rest, we’re officially looking for a foster home for this amazing girl!

Kya is dog, cat, and kid-friendly, and she’s doing great with pottying outside using her sling. She truly is the sweetest, most resilient dog.

🌹Amelia Rose: Saved from the PBCACC euth list, 2 years old, housebroken, crate-trained, goofy, playful, dog-friendly. Loves to play and dig!

🎯Bullseye: Saved from hoarding case, 1.5 years old, shy at first and then very playful, silly, and snuggly. Housebroken, crate-trained, and dog-friendly.

🫧Dory: Saved as a stray, 15ish week old shepherd/lab mix puppy. Shy at first and then playful and puppy-like. Likes to play, take naps, and cuddle. Good with dogs, likely good with cats, doing well with crate and potty training.

🖤Sura: Saved as a stray, finder wanted to dump her back on the streets. 3 year old Dobe mix. Shy at first, but very loving and loyal when she opens up. Likes to run! Dog, cat, and kid-friendly. Housebroken and crate-trained.

❄️Frost: Saved from neglect case. 1.5 years old, playful and high-energy. Loves to adventure. Good with cats and dogs with slow and proper introductions. Housebroken and crate-trained.

🦛Athena: Saved as a stray. 5 years old, happy-go-lucky, super sweet, loves people and kids, plays for a little and then is a major couch potato. Housebroken and crate-trained. Should be only pet.

🐿️Squirrel (brown) & 🧈Butters (white/tan): Saved from neglect case, only about 6 months old. Shy at first, especially Butters, but SO sweet when opened up. Goofy, playful, very snuggly. Housebroken and working on crate-training. Good with dogs and cats.

All our pups are or will be up-to-date on shots and spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

ADOPT BUTTERS! This little man has been in training with us because he is a bit fearful of new people. It’s safe to say he is doing great, and when given a little time to warm up, is the biggest love bug around!

He is about 6 months old and neutered. He is about 20lbs, and is expected to stay at or under 30lbs full-grown. He is playful, snuggly, great with dogs and cats, and is housebroken.

We are looking for someone patient for him, as he does get scared around new people. We need someone that can understand he needs just a bit of time to warm up.

There are so many dogs that we’ve turned down the last few weeks because of slow donations and it’s heartbreaking. On top of regular routine medical like vaccines and spays/neuters, Kya has needed 2 surgeries, Rosie has needed extensive medical, and more.😞

Last week we were contacted to help 2 stray pittie puppies that were living under a car. At first, we said no… but when I found out that they still didn’t have rescue today, we committed to them.

Now, we are praying that donations can come in for them and continue coming in to pay off Kya’s surgery.

Every donation is tax-deductible and every dollar makes a difference. Can you please donate so we don’t have to keep saying no to dogs in need?

Fosters found- pledges needed!

Urgent pledges and fosters needed‼️

These 12 week old pittie puppies need help. Someone was able to get them off the streets temporarily but they urgently need rescue. We have committed to them, pending pledges and foster offers come in…. Our funds are drained.

They are both males, very sweet, and dog-friendly. Fostering is free, all supplies will be provided, and it directly helps save lives! Can you please help one of them?

Sura, our sweet Dobe, needs a furever home! We saved this mama and her babies a few months ago and are baffled that this girl hasn’t gotten any interest. Here are some things about her:

‼️KYA IS CURRENTLY IN SURGERY & NEEDS YOUR HELP‼️

Kya, the husky from the cruelty case, is in her SECOND surgery needed to save her life. Last week she got one surgery at PEMC ($1,040) to remove the necrotic tissue on her backside. She’s been going in for daily bandage changes, until today, when she had to see a surgeon.

She is now with Dr Hanson at ECVS, a wonderful surgeon that is essentially trying to put Kya back together. He is going to try to repair the tissue, close the wound, and place a drain for proper healing. Th estimate for today was $1,500. Between the two surgeries and other vet visits, the cost to save her has reached $2,750.

She has gotten up every day to fight, so we are fighting alongside her. Can you please donate and share to help her?
