Iowa artist Kathleen Joy was at the Bell Tower Festival a couple of years ago and did this street chalk artwork in 3D. We asked her then if she had ever painted on a roof top? She looked interested so up to the tower we went.
Fast forward to today we have a cool 3D roof top art installation entitled "Home Sweet Home".
Sometimes all you have to do is strike up a conversation and you discover very cool people doing very cool art!

This roof top art was sponsored by Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation, The Bell Tower Foundation, Jefferson Telecom, Jefferson Matters, and a donation from Jed Magee.

Do you remember the 3D art at the Bell Tower Festival a few years ago? Well, now you can see it on a rooftop from the observation deck of the Tower!
So cool!

Clancy Clawson, another talented fellow in our community, designs a new Bell Tower sticker each year for the Festival. Stop in at Warm Wishes and get one and also see the sidewalk chalk done by the talented Eliza Elliott in front of the store.
Warm Wishes is one of those shops that knows why it's important to support artists - so support those efforts and stop in!

Bell Tower Festival kicks off tonight and we are ready with our new limited edition sticker (designed by Clancy). Tonight is a community night and we’re open late for our community. The shop is open Thursday until 7. We’ll have free friendship bracelet making and fun vibes! Can’t wait to see you.

Let's meet the artists of The Bridges of Greene County!

Left: Bridgett Hobbs is a student at Paton Churdan and comes to Greene County High School for her art classes.
Middle: Cora Powers is a student at Greene County High School
Right: Artist Jolene Peters was their instructor for this digital art project and owns Art On The Fly and works at the ISU Extension office.

Cora did two of these colorful pop art banners for the Art Garden.
Stop behind City Hall and see them all.

Students Bridgett Hobbs and Cora Powers along with artist Jolene Peters have created our newest artwork in the Art Garden behind City Hall. Entitled The Bridges of Greene County!
The pop art style they chose is really eye catching.

These little nippers from the Children Center are exactly why we do what we do to bring fun art downtown!
They know where to hang out in downtown Jefferson for some fun!
Stop up at the tower and see the roof top art and then head into all the magical alleyways found downtown.
